About the Role

Senator Tiara Mack (D-6) represents the communities of Mt Hope, Jewelry District and Washington Park in the Rhode Island General Assembly. She was first elected in January 2021 and serves on the senate Commerce and Housing & Municipal Government committees. Senator Mack fights daily in the General Assembly for progressive people centered policies; and believes that we must make major investments in housing, education, climate and social services to push Rhodes Island forward.

The communications intern is responsible for supporting campaign communications strategy through completing assigned tasks, including sending email communications, drafting legislation summaries and compiling communications data.

Requirements

The campaign seeks an intern that is a self starter, detailed oriented, effective communication skills, written and verbal, with an ability to synthesize information. Familiarity with Action Network and Canva are a plus.
