Candidate Spotlight: Lenny Cioe

When Lenny saw the impact of the AIDS crisis and the barriers to care people faced in our healthcare system, he stepped up, becoming a nurse to make a difference for hundreds of Rhode Islanders. And when the COVID-19 pandemic began, Lenny was on the front lines, caring for people who needed it the most. He saw the same injustices in our healthcare system and just how much getting sick could change someone’s life. Now, Lenny's stepping up again—this time to make dramatic policy change in our State Senate so that all Rhode Islanders have access to quality healthcare and stability.
